When you hear, “Hemi Cuda Convertible,” that is enough to stop any grown man in his tracks. They produced 14 Hemi Cuda Convertibles in 1970; factory built cars bring in excess of $2million dollars regularly at auction. They are one of the rarest muscle cars on the planet.

This car was originally a 1971 Barracuda Convertible. It's been upgraded to 572ci HEMI which produces 750HP at the flywheel. Up front is a complete Magnum Force suspension with manual rack and pinion and Wilwood 11” disc brakes. Rear of the car is a Dana 60 with custom fabricated, triangulated 4-link coil over suspension, and factory 11” drum brakes. Tying the convertible together includes custom engineered rocker to cowl shock tower reinforcements, full 2x3” subframe connectors that extend all the way inside the rear frame rail up to the coilover mount, and 3/16ths laser cut door opening plates. This engine build on this car was featured on TV.

This Hemi Cuda Convertible tribute car was built by the renown Mopar shop “Apex Auto Restoration”. The consignor wanted to build this car properly by starting out with a factory convertible and a manual transmission car. There are $282k in receipts in the build of this car. It was debuted at the “Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals” in 2017. Apex Auto Restoration continued to use this car for marketing and shows through 2020. This is your chance to own a car as close to the real one as you can for a fraction of the cost and not with the stress that comes with owning one for over $2m. With real Hemi Cuda Convertibles trading at $5m plus, own one you can drive and that looks equally as cool.

This car comes with a sales invoice from 1971, all of the restoration receipts, the purchase receipt of the donor car from eBay. It has the engine receipts, dyno sheets. It was a Canadian car from new.
